Homewood Suites by Hilton Hartford Manchester

My husband and I go down to this hotel one time a year to go see shows at the Funny bone comedy venue in the mall. What a great hotel! But this year something really stood out to us and it was the amazing breakfast that was offered! Above and beyond. Pulled pork breakfast tacos. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful. All the different options with fruit, cereal, eggs, and sausage to boot, and whoever made the coffee, great job The room was also fantastic. Extra space And quiet, comfortable. Restaurants nearby are fantastic, seeing a show at the funnybone, but really the hotel was top-notch this weekend.

We checked into Homewood Suites after a horrendous stay at a previous hotel nearby. The hotel manager, Brendan listened to our horror story and reassured us that we are in safe hands. He was correct! We stayed 15 nights and we didn't want to leave!!!! We got to know the staff and guests at the hotel. Everyone was friendly and professional. The hotel is clean!!! Breakfast was delicious! Good coffee!! Every Wednesday there was a get together with salads, cheese board, wine, soups etc. We enjoyed the pool and whirlpool spa. Clean and plenty of pool towels! The greatest compliment to the staff that I can give is that the hotel felt like home!!! So aptly named too!!!

Spent just under 3 weeks here for a business trip. The room was very comfortable with a convenient kitchenette. The daily breakfast buffet changes daily so it didn’t feel like you were stuck with the same food day after day. They have a nice outdoor patio with grills for guests to use and I took advantage of that which gave for more meal options. I only had one issue during my stay and that was a malfunction with my door that couldn’t get fixed until the next day but the staff bent over backwards to arrange another room for the night along with some basic supplies to get me through the night. Promptly at 7 AM they went to work repairing my door lock. I can’t fault anyone and they were beyond helpful. If I am ever in the area again, this will be were I stay.

Graduation season is upon us. The breakfast/dining area was packed early Saturday morning with folks in town for UConn's graduation, my husband and I among them. Very unhappy that we all had to wait for the breakfast buffet to be brought out. It should have been ready at 7am not just starting to be set up! No Coffee brewed, nothing! Everyone was annoyed! You would really think that Hilton would accommodate their guests a little better than that during graduation season. You can do better than that Hilton!

This is a place you either love or hate. I'm in the love category. First of all, it's a solid price. I travel to this region of Connecticuit a lot and this is a great hotel to start with. The free breakfast while not always the best are good. It's a great room and while not the most spacious, it packs a punch. It's right across from a mall where I always go to buy retro games, so that's a plus also. Great hotel, no doubt.

Hotel was smooth the room was also nice only issue was with the AC the circulation could be much better. Debrah at the front desk seems like she hates her job and she is very rude and stuck up . Otherwise I would recommend and come back to this hotel

Bedding and room was excellent. Breakfast was another story. The staff could not keep up with demand when the hotel is sold out. We had to wait for plates, coffee,eggs and sausage.

Although checkout took a while as the front desk person was gone. Everything else was good. I stayed here for a few nights last week and don’t have a chance utilize the continental breakfast, but it looked big. Also, the gym looked good and a pool and hot tub, but I was battling a cold. I’ll have to do more business in the Hartford area so I will definitely be back and stay here. It’s close to a bunch of restaurants, it’s an affordable price, and across the street from the mall.
